Due to laziness on my part, we were still running Wordpress 2.2 which had an SQL injection vulnerability. Thanks to a tip off from a friendly hacker, I’ve updated to the latest version of WordPress.

I’ve updated the forum software and also installed a CAPTCHA check for new forum sign-ups in order to try and reduce the level of spam on the boards.

Finally moved the site to my new web host.

Sorry for the downtime yesterday. My hosting company had a server failure and (in my opinion) customer service failure which resulted in almost 36 hours of downtime! As if that wasn’t enough they lost about 12 hours of emails too. I’ve signed up for a new hosting account with a new, more reliable company. I’ll migrate the site across as soon as I have time, probably next week.
