Re: MOD: Pix2Fone addon for singapore
Cool. Couple of comments on the service (using firefox 1.0):
* the first time I use it it asks me for my phone make & model but then seems to have forgotten about the image I selected to download
* the 'power resize' functions do not fit within the default popup window size. In fact they only just fit within a 1024 width window and since there are no scroll bars, anyone with a smaller screen would be unable to click OK.
* A 'send to phone' link as well as the alt-click option (but instead of the tip) would probably be more intuitive for most users.
* I think the 'Alt' key is called 'Option' on Apple macs - might be worth mentioning.

Re: MOD: Pix2Fone addon for singapore
Thanks a lot for the comments, Tamlyn!
* The 'image loss' issue has been fixed.
* There are two versions of the pic processor, - for 800 and 1024 screen resolutions. Probably it didn't detect your screen res correctly... hmmm, gotta look into that.
* Technically, making such a link wouldn't be difficult at all for dynamic driven galleries like singapore, yet for static pages it'd take manual set up of each link by webmaster. The main idea behind the service is simplicity: a webmaster has to add just one line of HTML between <head> tags (which can be done instantly even sitewide with a simple find/replace operation) to enable the service.
* Sadly, I haven't had an opportunity to
try it out on Mac so far; would appreciate any feedback on this matter.
