Hi, I read somewhere that thumbnail generators steel your bandwidth? Is this true? Please Help!

It is theoretically possible for another site to use your thumb.php to generate thumbnails for their site. You can block this with a .htaccess if it really bothers you but I don't know of any cases where this has actually happened.

They do take up CPU time. Idealy you only want to generate thumbnails once, or at least cache them for a good deal of time.
It is possible to generate thumbs on your computer rather than the web serever, but I don't know if Singapore supports this.

It kinda does. There is a script in the tools/ directory that makes an attempt at it but it's not very good. A better version will be included inthe next release.
